Styles of Replacement Gutters Offered By Gutter Cover KC™
K-Style Gutters:

A modern classic – it looks very much like crown molding with a nice beveled edge. The attachment brackets are inside the gutters – discretely hidden away.
The hidden brackets attach directly to the fascia creating a smooth, clean line.
K-Style Gutters are commonly preferred for their ability to carry a larger volume of water than traditional half-round gutters.
Half-Round Gutters:

A Vintage Original with ‘Old World Charm’ – Perfect for most Kansas City historic homes, or modern homes that want to stand out as distinct. Half-round gutters were the original gutter style and are sometimes called ‘European-style gutters’.
They essentially look like a piece of piping cut in half with a beveled edge. Their support brackets are often exposed on the outside of the gutter – adding extra detailing. Like K-style gutters, these brackets also attach to the fascia.
Half round gutters have one disadvantage: They can’t carry the same water volume as K-Style. So likely you will need a larger size half-round gutter than you would a K-Style gutter to do the same job.
Gutter Materials Available
Aluminum Gutters:
Most popular guttering material. Why? It’s strong, durable, lightweight and affordable. It’s corrosion and rust resistant. Also, aluminum gutters can come in a huge variety of colors which can help create a cohesive look with the home – or even create a statement piece. We offer 34 color options.
Galvalume Gutters:

Galvalume is made from a specific type of steel that has been coated with a special alloy for enhanced corrosion resistance and longevity. While having that galvanized steel look, it can last upwards of 75 years. It’s more resistant to denting than aluminum. And it has a unique matt silvery grey appearance which is becoming quite popular in modern homes.
Copper Gutters:

This material will truly elevate your curb appeal. Copper is the longest lasting guttering material – known to last 100 years. It’s beautiful when brand new, but is often sought after for its patina. However, if you only like the new shiny copper look, you might consider opting for an aluminum gutter with a copper look.
How To Choose The Right Gutter Replacement Color

The best gutter color is very subjective. First determine your goal: Do you want your gutters to blend into the background or create a statement piece?
Colors That Compliment
Often, gutters simply match or compliment the color the home is painted. That’s why our most popular gutter color is white. It’s a classic for sure.
Colors That Make a Statement
However, black, copper and galvalume gutters are becoming increasingly popular as they make the gutters pop. This creates a distinct, eye catching look that acts like beautiful trim or detailing around the roofing shingles.
Choosing the right gutters can transform both the look and protection of your home—see our full breakdown of modern gutter styles, designs, and materials.
